OPI.foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving public understanding of drug use, addiction, and recovery. Through education and research, we work to promote evidence-based approaches to substance use disorders and their treatment.

Reporting on Addiction

Training journalists to report on drug use and addiction policy with accuracy, nuance, and empathy. Through workshops, resources, and technical assistance, we support media professionals in covering evidence-based prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery.

Financial Transparency

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we're committed to transparency in how we use donor funds. Financial documents will be made publicly available upon IRS approval of our tax-exempt status.

Tax-Exempt Application in Process
